The primary function of Breezair’s Air Handling Unit is to intake fresh outdoor air, condition it, and supply it to a building while ensuring proper ventilation. The exhaust air is then expelled, maintaining a high standard of indoor air quality. Depending on the required temperature, the fresh air is either heated using a recovery unit or heating coil, or cooled with a cooling coil.

In buildings with lower air quality standards, some of the air from the rooms can be recirculated through a mixing chamber, offering significant energy savings. The mixing chamber uses dampers to control the ratio of return, fresh, and exhaust air, optimizing efficiency while maintaining comfort.
